I love getting to catch up on posting shots of my own two little dudes! I constantly say this, but these two share a bond like nothing I have ever seen. I have been SO incredibly blessed for these boys to call me momma each and every day. Just being able to do the simplest things with them reminds me how lucky I am. Lately I feel like, life pulls me in so many directions and the 1 thing that keeps me centered and directs me right back to what matters most in life and where my heart lies, is my boys. Whether it be, bikes, quads, legos, hide and seek, detectives, treasure hunts, exploring… whatever it may be. I swear the list never ends. WHY are they the coolest ever. Honestly, I forget I am an adult at times, because most of the time I catch myself getting lost in all these crazy activities. Flying down the driveway on a razor, or burying myself in leaves or bushes with my heart racing trying to get the best hiding spot. HA! Honestly, BEST little guys ever. I am soooo beyond blessed. I Love you Brody and Bentley with all my heart.
I am extremely lucky to have of photographed this awesome couple awhile back for Jen's maternity session. So needless to say, when I had the chance to photograph they're holiday photos I was so excited! I love sweet little Avery. She is one lucky baby girl to have Jen and Darren as parents. They are so wonderful with her and I love the way they truly savor every tiny moment with her. With that little face, it's hard not to. I just love them. Thank you for entrusting me again in documenting such special moments for you all. Love you all!
I love this sweet family. I am SO glad we got to makeup the first session and enjoy their company for a second time! These gorgeous twins are a RIOT and I love their energy! They have the sweetest personalities and I love the way their faces light up when they speed off to explore all the little things surrounding them.
I always remind parents, children are children. They will adventure and explore and sometimes the last thing they want to do is sit and smile. Which isn't ideal, and all you want is ONE good family photo. I TOTALLY get it. I experience it with my own children. haha… I promise you I have head swapped my boys faces to get 1 decent shot of all of us looking. Yes, it happens! BUT with those moments where you get to chase them around playing and capture them fully absorbed in their surroundings and taking every little bit of life in….THOSE are the photos I love more than anything equally as a parent and a photographer. Those will replace a posed smiling portrait any day!
