The time has finally come! I am BACK! And I have taken the time needed after my relocation to rebuild and adjust to my new life with my kiddos in North County San Diego. I want to thank you all for your unbelievable patience and support during this past year. It truly means the world to me. I am SO happy to be here and I look forward to working with you all again!
I loved meeting this sweet family that won the JBP giveaway! They were such a blast, and their entire session only took 20 min to get some awesome shots before little man dove in the ONLY mud pit in the field! ;)
I loved catching up with Ashley and meeting her beautiful daughter Farrah! Such a great in home newborn session, and I could NOT have asked for better lighting! Thank you Ash, such a pleasure <3
"This is what you don't do, don't let this world make you bitter. Don't let the actions of other people turn you cold on the inside. Certain things happen that hurt us, people come that leave us, and most of all there are moments when you're bound to fall. Don't let those things make you unkind. It's okay to cry, it's okay to be sad. But it's never okay to do other people wrong because you were done wrong. We're human. We brake. We make mistakes. But don't let pain and sadness run your lives. Wake up in the morning and do what you think is right. There are moments in your life where you feel like giving up, and you can't take it anymore. It's okay. Breathe. Inhale. Exhale. I know your weak. But the things that show your weak side are also the things that make u stronger. It's all about taking what life throws at you and learning from it."
The best gift I have ever given my boys, was a best friend. These two are everything to me, and raising them has given me so much joy and shown me a way of love that is so unselfish and pure. There is something so incredibly humbling knowing your boys are best friends and share the kind of bond that will carry on with them through their entire lives.
Kicking off the new year with a pretty great deal… considering how the giveaway went so great! I would LOVE to extend that deal for the first 10 bookings of 2016!

I love getting to catch up on posting shots of my own two little dudes! I constantly say this, but these two share a bond like nothing I have ever seen. I have been SO incredibly blessed for these boys to call me momma each and every day. Just being able to do the simplest things with them reminds me how lucky I am. Lately I feel like, life pulls me in so many directions and the 1 thing that keeps me centered and directs me right back to what matters most in life and where my heart lies, is my boys. Whether it be, bikes, quads, legos, hide and seek, detectives, treasure hunts, exploring… whatever it may be. I swear the list never ends. WHY are they the coolest ever. Honestly, I forget I am an adult at times, because most of the time I catch myself getting lost in all these crazy activities. Flying down the driveway on a razor, or burying myself in leaves or bushes with my heart racing trying to get the best hiding spot. HA! Honestly, BEST little guys ever. I am soooo beyond blessed. I Love you Brody and Bentley with all my heart.
I am extremely lucky to have of photographed this awesome couple awhile back for Jen's maternity session. So needless to say, when I had the chance to photograph they're holiday photos I was so excited! I love sweet little Avery. She is one lucky baby girl to have Jen and Darren as parents. They are so wonderful with her and I love the way they truly savor every tiny moment with her. With that little face, it's hard not to. I just love them. Thank you for entrusting me again in documenting such special moments for you all. Love you all!
I love this sweet family. I am SO glad we got to makeup the first session and enjoy their company for a second time! These gorgeous twins are a RIOT and I love their energy! They have the sweetest personalities and I love the way their faces light up when they speed off to explore all the little things surrounding them.
I always remind parents, children are children. They will adventure and explore and sometimes the last thing they want to do is sit and smile. Which isn't ideal, and all you want is ONE good family photo. I TOTALLY get it. I experience it with my own children. haha… I promise you I have head swapped my boys faces to get 1 decent shot of all of us looking. Yes, it happens! BUT with those moments where you get to chase them around playing and capture them fully absorbed in their surroundings and taking every little bit of life in….THOSE are the photos I love more than anything equally as a parent and a photographer. Those will replace a posed smiling portrait any day!
Goodness I missed my hometown… when I lived in Ventura County, we often visited my family here and made a point to spend holidays with them as well. There is just something about moving back with the opportunity of starting over thats given me a whole new appreciation for what this place really means to me and the beginning of our new life here. I am surrounded by SO much love and support. My family is everything to me, and this has been an extremely long, tough year and there isn't a day that passes I don't assure them my love and gratitude for helping me and my boys push through it. With that being said, of COURSE I am going to post a few of my favorite shots of my amazing boys, parents and a couple of my cousins ADORABLE little Hayden girl, that my boys adore so much <3
